Proper dehumidification of indoor pool enclosures is a must for comfort and maintenance of the pool structure and building. High moisture content in the air is difficult to breathe and chilly water is uncomfortable. If humidity levels are not properly maintained mold and mildew flourish, ceiling tiles and walls become saturated, metal trim on windows and doors corrodes - and the building can become a health hazard to patrons.
E-Tech systems are 'energy recovery' systems that take unwanted heat and moisture from the air within the pool enclosure and recycle it to heat the pool water. In the process of taking the heat and humidity out of the air - cool, dehumidified air is returned to the environment, stabilizing the humidity level.

PhD Series
PhD products are integrated packages which supply 100% of the heat required to heat a pool with savings of 25-50% over conventional natural gas or electric systems. The PhD system recovers the energy lost by the pool to the atmosphere through evaporation. The recovered energy is returned to the pool water to maintain the desired water temperature. Any excess heat is used to reheat the air that has been cooled in the dehumidifying process and stabilize the interior atmosphere of the pool area.
The process of recovering the heat by condensing the moisture in the air reduces the need for fresh air ventilation to control humidity and provides additional energy savings since less fresh air is required to be heated in the winter.
HDCP Series
HDCP products are two-stage integrated packages that control humidity in indoor pool enclosures with continual or occasional high humidity conditions. That would include therapeutic pools with warmer temperatures or high activity pools in schools, colleges and recreation centers. HDCP packages incorporate two stages in series for superior humidity control for use in larger indoor pool facilities. They provide pool heating and substantial energy savings over conventional systems.
The HDCP System recovers energy lost by the pool to the atmosphere through evaporation. The recovered energy is returned to the pool water to maintain the desired water temperature. Any excess heat is used to reheat the air that has been cooled in the dehumidifying process and stabilize the interior atmosphere of the pool area.
The HDCP system monitors the humidity conditions and uses stage one during normal conditions; then brings on the second stage to deter higher humidity factors only when high humidity conditions are encountered, thus stabilizing the humidity conditions overall.

AhD Series Dehumidifier
In many instances, indoor pools need only reliable dehumidification to manage evaporation, any corrosion or mold and mildew problems. AhD products provide room dehumidification for indoor pools when no pool heating is required. They are similar to PhD models with excellent operating costs. The basic difference is that the AhD unit provides dehumidification only, and no pool water heating.
